We comply with regulation “GDPR” that applies to all uses of data within Europe whether internal or external (i.e. originating outside Europe). To familiarise we suggest you visit www.eugdpr.org.
The regulation applies to personal data. We quote “What constitutes personal data? Any information related to a natural person or ‘Data Subject’, that can be used to directly or indirectly identify the person. It can be anything from a name, a photo, an email address, bank details, posts on social networking websites, medical information, or a computer IP address”.
3rd parties. We shall not provide your name or any of your details to any 3rd party without first contacting you and receiving your approval either by email or in written form.
Direct contact: (between Jospa and you) In our activities, carrying out R&D and raising funds to finance our R&D and seeking partners to commercialise the outcomes, we are very ‘data light’ – we don’t expect high rates of personal contact. We consider those who fill out the form below as falling into 1 or more of 3 categories-
1. Technical – those interested in a technical dialogue on our work, perhaps to offer advice materials or skills we might use. If we were to run a seminar we might wish to invite those who have shown their interest by contacting us. Technical dialogue and interchanges are so established worldwide that we see them as posing very little data risk – if the information becomes ‘serious’ in content both parties would seek NDA’s to cover discussions.
2. Commercial – those possibly interested in partnering, funding and any other commercial arrangement. Where these are individuals the GDPR applies. Such a contact may not be interested in what we have now but both parties might wish to be able to renew contact in case other opportunities arise.
3. Employment – (we are not hiring now) you may ask us to consider you for employment if the occasion arises or we may find you interesting and hope we might contact you at a future date.
